There are different ways to engage in a solo as you have shown .. best is to combine everything to get a full tool box giving you lots of freedom to express

This is great thanks Rusty, good to always remember the groove 🙂
Right on! Thanks a lot for checking out the video👍
Very nice looking guitar
I do love that Stratocaster! Thanks, Larry✌️
Is it normal for that blues shuffle stretch to feel so hard? Playing it sitting down is Ok but standing up - even with my guitar up high - just kills my hand and wrist.
Just try and practice it a little every day. You will build up some strength. It still hurts my wrist. Also if I play it for a while. Thanks a lot for checking out the video.👍
Glad the short brought me over. Very good...
I mean it might've taken me awhile to back for it to watch and👍Up.
👍
Great to see you here! Thanks a lot for checking out my videos👍

Hey, Rusty. Great Lesson. some nice stuff that can be moved around the neck to great effect. I need more work on my left hand muting technique so this was helpful, especially "Thrill."

I learn from you. Chuck/Charles in San Diego, Ca. Blessings. LIked and subscribed.
I’m glad to hear that! Thank you for subscribing to my channel! Catch you later👍
What a great lesson, merci Rusty. I've been spending more time on the piano recently, Burgmüller. But his first piece in Opus 100 is a pentatonics and scales song. My teacher is happy since I've been transposing it into all the keys. But in the song there is a part where you play the V of V, and I just realized that I can use it to modulate or change keys (I need to learn the difference, next lesson) withing the song. That will give it more continuity. This looks like the same principle. But that is for later on, I need to just sit down and practice this to get the basics. I've bookmarked this video also.
Thanks for checking out the video! I hope you are moving forward on the guitar👍
Very cool... the mid neck riffing is such a sweet spot & on lots of guitars it sounds the best
Right on brother! Fun stuff! Thanks👍
Ah haw haw haw haw
And the air is fine 😂 Thanks buddy✌️
Digging it Rusty 👍
Nice! Happy to hear it ✌️
Been beating my head against the wall for decades until I gave up out of frustration. Thank You so much, Rusty, for the inspiration. Don't know how to thank you; but will easily figure that out. @@rustysguitar1 It is I who should thank you, my friend. Always! Thanks!
Right on Rusty. Good to see you on an acoustic. You a Taylor guy? I own four Taylor's. They are great acoustics. Neck resets are gravy.
Thanks Charles! I only have one acoustic guitar and it just happens to be a nice old Taylor! Great Guitar! Great to hear from you, buddy👍
You made that Acoustic sing, Rusty. Sounded awesome.
Thanks so much!!! I appreciate it ✌️
@@rustysguitar1 What's your choice for acoustic strings? Also wondering what gage too? I've always chose "Ernie Ball" Earth wood's in 10 gage. But 11's sound much better for picking & strumming. 10's are just easier to bend. My fingers have a hard time bending 11's. I also choose 10's for my electric. I find it's best for slide, guitar, but I can still bend them. 9's feel like Rubber bands to me. hahaha.. Peace.. Joe
Nicely done Sir 😊
Thanks so much, Alan! Later, bro😎
Awesome!!!
Thanks a lot Bert👍
Rusty on acoustic!
Thanks a lot, Dave!👍
